Courses
Preview, edit, and organize the training library.
Creates an empty draft. Open it and use Edit to add the lesson and quiz — or switch its type to an acknowledgment (read + confirm, no quiz).
| Course | Version | Questions | Tags | Flags | Status |
|---|
Every quiz course measured against its own lesson, worst first. The same check the editor runs on one course, so the two can never disagree. A guide, not a verdict — it matches words between a question and the lesson, and nothing here blocks publishing.
Measured from real attempts on the version published now. A question nearly everybody misses is usually badly written or not taught; one nobody has ever missed is not testing anything.
A learner highlighted something and said it looks wrong. Each one quotes the lesson as they read it, so a later edit cannot orphan it.
Groups
Assign training to a group and every member gets it. "Everyone" and "All Staff" update their membership automatically.

Schedules
Assign one or more courses to a group, everyone, or a person on a start date, with an optional due date, repeating on a cadence (e.g. "reassign every year"). The system assigns them automatically when each cycle comes due.

People
Everyone with training access. Click a person for their full training status.
Give someone already in the compliance system access to training. Mark external contractors "contractor-only" so they can reach training but nothing else.
Paste a CSV with an Email column. First name, Last name, Groups (separated by semicolons) and Deactivated are optional. Nothing is written until you have seen what it would do, and no email is sent — sign-in links are issued per person afterwards.
Create a new training-only account (e.g. a contractor not already in the compliance system). No email is sent — send the invite later.

Settings
Rules that decide what counts as compliant. Every change is recorded with who made it and what it was before.
A learner is warned on the attempt before their last one, stopped when they reach the limit, and shown on Attention until a trainer writes them a note. That note is what lets them try again.
These change what a learner is asked to do, not what they are told. Nothing here sends anything.
Every message the training system is able to send, who receives it, how often, and the words it uses. Read the wording before switching one on: these go to everybody at once.
Everything the training system can send. All of it is off until you turn it on, and nothing is ever sent at the moment you click — the overnight job does the sending.
These appear in the learner’s own training inbox. Nothing is emailed. Each course says its piece once per cycle, not once a night.
Not a notification. One email to one person, at the moment you issue them a sign-in link, and nothing else ever sends it. The link is shown on screen to copy whether this is on or off.
Edit the subject, the message, or just one of them — whatever you leave empty keeps the wording it ships with. Clear both and press Save to go back to the built-in version. The look of the email is not editable, so an edited message still matches the rest.
Training email only. Compliance mail is not shown here even though both share one log. This records what the relay accepted, which is not the same as delivered: a row that says sent and never arrived is a question for the relay, and the message id is what to quote.

Roles & permissions
Build roles from the permission list and assign them to staff. Admin / Manager / Author are built in. A compliance admin with no role here keeps full access.

Reporting
Course completion and the compliance matrix. Moved here from the overview: these are read monthly, not daily.
Three families: Status is where we are now, Evidence is proving it to somebody, Program health is whether the system itself is right. Anything marked not built yet is on the list, not forgotten — tell me which you would open and it moves up.
Click a course for the per-person breakdown. "Export CSV" downloads the full completion record for auditors.
| Course | Assigned | Completed | Overdue | Attention | Flags |
|---|
Everyone and the training required of them — each cell is that person's status for that course: complete (with date), overdue, expired (recert lapsed), in progress, or not started. Filter for an examiner, then export.
An exemption removes the obligation: the course stops being outstanding, stops going overdue and stops being counted. It is not a completion. An extension keeps the obligation and moves the deadline.
| Person | Course | Why | Granted by | When | State |
|---|
Every completion on record, newest first. This says what happened, not who is compliant today: a pass from last cycle stays here after a recertification opens. A carried-over row has the date and score Seismic recorded and no course version of ours, because the lesson it was taken against is not one of ours. Export takes the whole filtered list, not the page.
Every active course against what requires it and who has finished it. A course nothing requires shows no overdue and no failures, so it is invisible everywhere else.
Faults in the program itself rather than in anybody’s progress. None of these produce an error; they produce a confident, wrong number.
Audit
What happened, and what came in from the previous system. Evidence rather than a daily view.
Filed from the training pages by testers and learners. Changing the status here does not email anybody.

Who changed what, newest first. The answer to "who assigned that course" and "who moved that due date". Tick Include sign-ins to add who signed in, and who failed to, for people with training access.

Needs attention
People who keep failing a course they have not yet passed. The pass mark is 100%, so a near miss still counts as a failure — repeated ones are worth a conversation.
